Climate Change-Related Statistics in the Arab Region

Objective
With the goal of improving climate change-related statistics collected by NSOs in the Arab region, this report presented a proposed set of climate-change related indictors. The countries of the Arab region have been faced with challenges of sustainable development effected by climate change. It has been, and continues to be, crucial that climate-change related statistics are available to allow for the measuring and monitoring of social and economic effects of climate change. A table in the report goes into depth about each of the proposed indicators.
Our Role
Our principal, Rob Smith, was the lead author on the report prepared for the Statistics Division in the Economic and Social Commission for West Africa on climate-change related statistics in the Arab region.
